James Peckitt:

With over 12 years experience working as a physiotherapist in the NHS, elite sport and private practice, James has gained invaluable experience working with clients in a variety of different clinical settings.
After qualifying in 2008, James completed his Masters in Sports Medicine at Queen Mary University of London and worked as a physiotherapist at the London 2012 Olympic Games, before taking up several positions in professional sports including Head Physiotherapist for London Irish Rugby Club, Saracens Women’s Rugby Club, and FAI League & Cup double championship winning side Cork City Football Club.
Currently working in partnership with a network of specialist consultants, James’ specialty is in the post-surgical treatment and rehabilitation of the hip, knee, and spine, as well as the management of sports injuries and return to play protocols.
Alongside his clinical work, James is a visiting lecturer on the Sports Medicine & Physiotherapy Masters programs at UCC, and is a published author on ACL Rehabilitation and shoulder pain in sports.
